Port Robe

In January 1857 the arrival of a sailing ship at Port Robe, in the Province of South Australia, stirs the small township of Robe Town into frantic action. The tall ship is flying a British flag. It moves into deep water off the end of the jetties and lets down its anchors. The decks are crowded with passengers!
