This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 24th International Conference on Logic Programming, ICLP 2008, held in Udine, Italy, in December 2008.

The papers cover all issues of current research in logic programming - they are organized in topical sections on applications, algorithms, systems, and implementations, semantics and foundations, analysis and transformations, CHRs and extensions, implementations and systems, answer set programming and extensions, as well as constraints and optimizations.
