The Learner's Kanji Dictionary

A portable dictionary created for students of the Japanese language. Featuring the same multi-compound reference system fond in the main volume (Kanji Dictionary), this version includes all 1945 Joyo Kanji, 284 kanji for given names, and 70 additional kanji for family, geographical and company names. Overall it contains 2300 kanji and nearly 19,000 compounds, and includes handwritten, cursive and printed forms of each kanji. An index by stroke count is an added feature of this learner's version.
